From November 1st to 7th,
Lei Weihua, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor,
led a delegation from Longhua District to visit
Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, and São Paulo, Brazil,
and held an economic and trade cooperation exchange meeting.
Seven memorandums of understanding were signed during the event,
and large orders exceeding 20 billion RMB were signed,
helping local enterprises actively expand into overseas markets.

Mexico City
The delegation visited government agencies including the Department of International Affairs and Sister Cities of the State of Mexico, the International Relations Committee of the São Paulo State Congress, and the São Paulo State Investment Promotion Agency; industrial parks and enterprises such as Mexico Electronics Manufacturing Group, Mybit Technology Group, Salinas Business Group, the University of São Paulo-Riberam Preto Science and Technology Innovation Park, and the São Paulo International Innovation Demonstration Zone; and business associations such as the Mexican Electric Vehicle Development Association and the São Paulo Industrial Federation, strengthening in-depth exchanges and cooperation with local government agencies and business associations. The delegation also participated in economic and trade exchange activities and conducted research on enterprises in Longhua, Mexico and Brazil, further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.

São Paulo
During the event, the China (Shenzhen·Longhua)-Mexico (Mexico City) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference and the China (Shenzhen·Longhua)-Brazil (São Paulo) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference were successfully held, attracting over 150 prominent figures, entrepreneurs, and experts from the political and business sectors of Mexico and Brazil. At both conferences, Lei Weihua delivered speeches, introducing the investment and business environment of Longhua District, showcasing the cooperation potential between Shenzhen and Longhua District with Mexico City and São Paulo in areas such as industrial structure, technological innovation, and urban governance, and inviting friends from Mexico and Brazil to visit Shenzhen and Longhua. He also welcomed overseas enterprises and outstanding talents to settle down and start businesses in Longhua.
The head of the Longhua District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology introduced Longhua District's locational advantages and industrial development, welcoming more Mexican and Brazilian companies and outstanding talents to invest and develop businesses in Longhua, sharing opportunities with an attitude of "openness, innovation, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation."
The Coordinator of the State of Mexico's Economic Development Agency stated in his speech that Sino-Mexican economic and trade exchanges are becoming increasingly close, and Shenzhen, with its leading manufacturing system, innovative spirit, and open market, is injecting new impetus into cooperation. The Director of the São Paulo Investment Promotion Agency stated that the agency actively addresses the pain points faced by companies in establishing operations and is committed to creating a "more efficient and favorable environment for entrepreneurship and investment," welcoming Chinese companies to establish deeper cooperative relationships. São Paulo and Shenzhen both value technological innovation and the consumer sector, and hope to promote higher-quality, pragmatic cooperation in the future.
At the economic and trade cooperation exchange meeting, Shenzhen Longhua Construction and Development Group, Shenzhen Huabao New Energy, Shenzhen Chuangyingxin Industry, and Shenzhen Tianma Microelectronics promoted their projects in areas such as urban renewal, new energy storage, and semiconductor and display technologies, showcasing Longhua's synergistic advantages of "industrial hierarchy + technological density."
